FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY EXPLAINED

Fascial Stretch Therapy(TM) is a unique, complete and complementary system of table-based assisted stretching, focusing on the fascia and joint capsule as the key elements in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief.
Fascia is a network of layered connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones and joints. A joint capsule is also a connective tissue structure that surrounds joints and is involved in optimizing the mechanical function of the joint as well as providing nutrients.  Restricted fascia and joint capsules can lead to conditions such as osteoarthritis, increased muscle tightness, strains, tendinopathies, headaches, scar tissue formation, decreased blood flow and reduced energy levels.

Fascial Stretch Therapy and you;

“your fascia reacts to all stress – physical, mental and emotional – by tightening & stiffening.  Since fascia covers everything from all of your organs to the circulatory system to the brain & nervous system to the musculoskeletal system and more, your whole body is at risk to react to stress by tightening & stiffening. When your fascia is left unattended, aging of the body, mind & spirit accelerates, function decreases & quality of life deteriorates” – Ann & Chris Frederick: Creators of Fascial Stretch Therapy & Founders of the Stretch to Win Institute.
